RenderKu is an email design platform with built-in design editor.

I started RenderKu after years of working in email marketing with OnVoard to solve the common problem of making it easy to design emails within an email editor.

On top of standard emails, RenderKu currently also supports generating Shopify email templates and BigCommerce email templates. Merchants can use RenderKu to generate beautiful emails for their ecommerce emails such as abandoned cart, registration confirmation, order confirmation etc.

This startup is running live.

Current Status

RenderKu is currently a profitable app business running on autopilot.
It's been almost 2 years since I've added any new features. Yet the moat of this app is so strong that I would say that it's probably the best email templates app in Shopify app store.

RenderKu Differences

Problem with other email editors

One common problem you will face when using email editors is that if you need to make some minor change to your image, you have to reupload the whole image. There's no easy way to preview changes without reuploading the image.

This whole process is without a doubt, highly inefficient for designing emails.

Built-In Design Editor

RenderKu biggest difference is that unlike all other email editors, it has a built-in design editor that you can use to edit images without needing to reupload your changes. It's like having a Canva inside your email editor.

To see how it works, open email editor with a template.
Click on the image block to select it.
Then on the left sidebar, click Open Image Editor to edit the image directly.
Feel free to modify the image by dragging the text around, or even add some filters.
Click Save Image at the top right corner to invoke changes to email editor directly.
